Don't you just love holidays! I really love St. Patrick's Day for some reason. Maybe it is that little tiny bit of Irish blood that I have in me. Anyway we woke to a surprise this morning. A
lil' wee
leprechaun had visited us in the night and left all kinds of
mischief and gifts for us. We had made a couple of traps to catch that pesky wee thing, but none the less he out smarted us. He even peed in our toilet of all things and left foot prints everywhere. I have to say I was a little upset because I had just cleaned the day before. We did find out the
leprechauns wash their hands after using the potty because there were footprints all the way to the sink. To top it all o
ff we found that the wee little guy had turned our milk green, and our eggs too. He also made us green pancakes with shamrocks cut into them. We didn't find him in our trap but we did find some of his treasure that he put their instead. That crazy wee
leprechaun even wrote us a note.
We had all of the excitement at home, but it didn't end there...Tyler's kindergarten class was also visited by a leprechaun. He left them treats, sent them on a treasure hunt, and even gave them some Irish bread and green juice. The green juice had a caution sign on it that we later found out that the adults were not suppose to drink it because it would turn their feet green. Poor Mrs. Lusher, she found that her feet were green when she took off her shoes.
Well the day is not over, we will have to see what other surprises that leprechaun has up his sleeve.
Well, Top of the Mornin' to ya all!
